The studio

BYB Studio is a software studio at Efesou 22, 11252 Athens, Greece. Lior Pesoa runs it, and is the controller of the personal data described here. Write to hello@byb.sh.

What this policy covers

It covers this website (https://byb.sh) and purchases of software, site work, and digital products from BYB Studio. A specific product may publish extra notices. Those notices apply in addition to this policy, not instead of it.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to do the work and to bill for it:

• Contact details you send us: name, email address, and the content of your message.
• Billing details needed to take payment: name, email, billing address, and payment status. We do not store full card numbers.
• Records of what you bought, when you bought it, and messages about the work.

If you email us, the message sits in our mail. If you pay, Stripe holds the payment record.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe, on our instructions, for charges in the name BYB Studio. Stripe may also act on its own for fraud prevention and legal duties. Their terms apply to the payment step. We do not receive your full card number.

How we use information

• To answer you and to deliver software, sites, and products.
• To take payment, issue receipts, and keep accounts.
• To handle refunds, cancellations, and complaints.
• To meet tax, accounting, and other legal duties in Greece.

We do not use your data for advertising profiles.

Legal bases (GDPR)

• Contract: answering an enquiry, delivering work you asked for, and taking payment.
• Legal obligation: invoices, tax records, and consumer-law correspondence.
• Legitimate interests: keeping a record of the project so we can support it, in a way that does not override your rights.

Sharing

We share data with Stripe for payment. We may share data with accountants, counsel, or public authorities when the law requires it, or when we must defend a claim. Hosting for this site is on infrastructure in the EU or a country covered by an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, as provided by our host.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for advertising.

Cookies

This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies. It does not drop a cookie banner because it does not track you. If you pay through Stripe Checkout, Stripe may set cookies on its own pages. A BYB Studio product you log into may set a session cookie so the product can run. Those cookies are described in that product if they go beyond what is needed to provide it.

How long we keep data

Contact mail is kept for as long as the conversation and any follow-up work require, then deleted or archived in the ordinary course of mail. Billing and invoice records are kept for the period Greek tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us what we hold.

Your rights

If EU or Greek data protection law applies to you, you can ask us to access, correct, erase, or restrict your data, to object to our use of it, and to receive a copy in a portable form where that right applies. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) or to the authority in your EU country.

To request deletion or any other right, write to hello@byb.sh from the address we have on file where we can, so we know the request is yours. We will answer within a month, or tell you if we need more time as the law allows.

Children

We do not offer accounts to children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to hello@byb.sh and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new text on this page with a new effective date.
