Terms

The studio

These terms are between you and BYB Studio, a software studio at Efesou 22, 11252 Athens, Greece. Lior Pesoa runs it. Write to hello@byb.sh.

Buying from us, commissioning work, or using a paid product means you agree to this. If a statement of work says something different on a point, that document wins on that point.

Work

We make consumer apps, websites, and digital products. Some of it is commissioned. Some we operate ourselves. Invoices and subscriptions go out as BYB Studio.

Orders and delivery

A product order is accepted when we confirm it or when we take payment. Custom site or software work is accepted when both sides agree the scope in writing (email is enough).

Digital products are delivered online. Software and sites are delivered as agreed in the order: access to a product, files, or a live site. We will say if a date is an estimate.

Fees

Prices are as shown at checkout or as written in the order. Subscriptions renew at the then-current price unless we tell you otherwise before the renewal. You are responsible for any tax that applies to you that we do not collect.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• break the law with our software, sites, or products
• probe, disrupt, or overload our systems except as allowed in a written security test
• resell access unless the order says you may
• copy, scrape, or reverse engineer a product beyond what the law allows
• upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that is illegal in Greece or the EU

We may suspend access if you breach this section, after notice where that is reasonable and lawful.

Your content and our work

You keep the rights in material you give us. You grant us a licence to use it to do the work. We keep the rights in our pre-existing tools, libraries, and methods. Finished custom work is licensed or assigned as the order says. If the order is silent, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use the deliverables for the purpose we both agreed, and we may reuse general know-how.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep operated software and sites available. We do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change a product if the change does not take away the core of what you paid for during a paid period. If we withdraw a product, we will say so and handle unused prepaid time under the refunds page.

Warranties and liability

We provide software, sites, and products with reasonable care. We do not promise they will meet a purpose we did not agree in writing.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that Greek or EU law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer in the EU or Greece, your statutory rights stay intact.

For business customers, our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the work or product that gave rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim.

Refunds, withdrawal, and subscription cancellation are set out on the refunds page. That page is part of this contract.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Greece. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the mandatory protections of that country. Courts of Athens, Greece have jurisdiction, without limiting a consumer's right to sue in their home EU courts.
